Pluie d'Or - the daughters' first coup. The name, which was once invented by grandfather Heinrich Glenz for a white wine, has been proudly protected for our winery ever since. The wonderful name lay dormant for two generations, but in 2007 the daughters took it in hand and brought it back to life.
Petite Arvine brings a fresh, mineral note and citrus aromas that make the wine lively and zesty. Pinot Gris adds rich, fruity flavors reminiscent of ripe pears, peaches and honey. It adds depth to the wine. Chasselas provides a fine, mild fruitiness and an elegant freshness.
The combination of these three grape varieties results in a wine that is fruity, mineral and harmonious, with a good balance between freshness and fullness, and a long-lasting, elegant finish.
The Pluie d'Or is a welcome guest at any aperitif. It also goes very well with Asian dishes and fish dishes.
